A bonus grants credit on a trading account — visible and tradeable, but not withdrawable. What happens next depends on the configuration:
- With a volume target and time window, a scheduled job evaluates each bonus: hit the required trading volume inside the window and the credit converts to a real, withdrawable deposit; miss it and the credit is removed and the bonus revoked. There is no grace period.
- With both fields left blank, the bonus is permanent non-withdrawable trading credit — never evaluated, never revoked.
Both events show in the transaction ledger as Bonus Applied and Bonus Revoked rows.
Bonus configurations
The Bonus page lists your configurations with status, deposit range, region, campaign, ladder steps, volume requirement, and date range. “Create New” opens the configuration form:
- Deposit window — minimum and maximum qualifying deposit.
- Ladder steps — fixed-dollar or percentage amounts per step, with an optional max bonus cap.
- Region Group — required; a client outside the region group never matches.
- Marketing Campaign — target a campaign, or “None (Base Bonus)” for a universal config. Note the base config is not a fallback: a campaign-specific config fully owns its campaign.
- Repeatable — off means only the first deposit qualifies; on maps each subsequent deposit to the matching ladder step.
- Start/End dates — the end date stops new grants only; bonuses already running are unaffected.
One configuration exists per (region group, campaign) combination.
Deactivation is permanent. A deactivated configuration cannot be edited or reactivated — create a new one instead. Deactivating stops new grants but leaves in-flight bonuses running.
Manual overrides
To grant, correct, or zero a bonus outside the rules, use the override on a specific trading account: client profile → Accounts → bonus panel → “Override”. Choose Set Absolute or Adjust by Delta, give a required reason, and confirm through the two-step review. Overrides apply immediately and bypass the unlock machinery entirely — an upward override is effectively a direct credit grant.
Also note the interaction with credit removal: removing more than an account’s non-bonus credit cancels bonuses oldest-first, permanently — see Adjusting credit.
Override History
The Override History page is the immutable audit log of every manual override: when, who, which trader and account, previous and new values, the delta, and the reason. To reverse a mistake, perform a new override and log why.
